Safety is one of the most important aspects of Auto racing equipments. One can compromise speed but not safety. Equipments are the essence of auto driving. Without considering these you cannot drive safely. In this article, we will try to find out how different auto racing equipments achieve both of these goals simultaneously.

Fuel cell can regarded as an important auto racing equipment. There are three lines of defense related to Fuel cell. First is a metal container. The second is bladder that lives in the inner part of the metal box. The metal container blunts the bladder. A bladder prevent puncture with the help of its flexibility. Manufacturers try their best to make bladders strong enough to take the maximum impact. Simultaneously it should be pliable enough so as to deform around any intrusion. A fuel cell should be foam- baffled to prevent the worst type of accident called explosion. If fuel cell is not encapsulated by foam, and if unfortunately it blows, resulting splinters would be thrown in all directions at a deadly speed. Much like a bomb explosion. This is the most hazardous thing to happen. The bladder should be changed in every five years. You may use the foam for a longer period but, keep inspecting foam regularly.

Rollovers are the next important aspect to consider. In spite of the best attempt, cars do roll over. Check valve of a fuel cell stops fuel from coming out of a vent if the car rolls over. The check valve is a ball bearing. It reacts to gravity. If the vehicle slips, the bearing slides with it. It stops fuel from coming out of the vent.

Helmets are your last line of defense in case of a car wreck. The helmet must be fireproof. The first layer of the helmet should be of hard material. The second layer should be shock absorbing.

Seats are primarily made of aluminum frame. More use of Aluminum is more costly. The seat is designed to combat heavy pressure. The belt should be user friendly. Quality and pricing are other two aspects of the seatbelts. After every five years one should replace the seat belt

Gloves are for providing solid grip. They are also used as fire protecting sheet for your hands. Nomex is the most common material used for gloves. Gloves should be such that they fit comfortably on your hands. Too stuffy gloves should be avoided. Fire suits are ultimate line of defense you must buy it with discretion.
