Extreme sports are played by most of the teens and sometimes they get injured. Most of the extreme sports require using or wearing protective equipments in addition to essential equipments. To protect yourself from injuries, you should wear extreme sport equipments.

Helmets are generally used in football, hockey, baseball, softball, biking, skateboarding, and in-line skating, skiing and snowboarding to prevent head-injuries. Your extreme sports helmet should be comfortable and provides more safety. It is not safe to use a helmet of one sport to another because they do not give full safety for other sports. Always buy a helmet which fit snugly and comfortably with your head.

Mouth guards are also one of important extreme sport equipments. You can fit you mouth guard by a dentist or purchased from sports stores. They protect your mouth in contact sports such as football, basketball, hockey, volleyball, martial arts, boxing, or wrestling. Contact sports and sports involving running require wearing protective cup. If you are an athlete consult your trainer or coach whether you need cup or not.

Proper type of footwear always protects your feet. Your footwear should be comfortable so that you remain active throughout the game. In some sports, footwear plays an important role in the performance of players. These are football, baseball, softball, and sports like skateboarding and biking need some modified shoes. Right equipment wearing in right fit noticeably reduces the chances of getting hurt.

Some medical equipments are also comes under the name of extreme sport equipment. If you injured during a game, don’t try to play soon until you are recovered completely.

Before playing an extreme sport, you should warm up your body properly to make your muscles active. Jogging, jumping jacks or brisk walking are some cardiovascular activities to keep you smart before a play. After proper warming up your muscles become more elastic and you should follow some stretching exercises. To keep yourself physically fit, you should skip any of the practices. Routine practices help you in reducing injuries and increases team work.

Keep your equipments in proper places and practice by wearing them regularly. It will help your equipments fit and more comfortable with you. If they are not use regularly they will get rust of damage and you can not perform better
