Motorcycle racing equipments are very important for safety and advance racing. Purchasing right safety equipments are very important for motor sports. You have to spend some money on buying these safety equipments if you want to enjoy motorcycling. Always buy the equipments that will last for 3-5 years. In the list of motorcycle racing equipment, helmet comes first. A motorcycle racing helmet must have 120″ thick shields. It should be fire resistance and would be one which has been subjected to different crash tests. The different types of helmets are full-face, full-face without shield and open-face. Full-face helmet is of twp types, large eye-port and small eye-port. Small eye-ports protect the entrance of flying objects and insects. Large eye-ports enable to see the gauges easily. Small eye-ports are preferable in open racing while large eye-ports are used by sedan racers. Different helmets have different features, some have vents and others don’t have vents.

Wearing a full-face helmet gives a cool feeling. Without shields, it has better visibility but they do not protect your face completely. Helmets with more vents are cooler. Helmets are mostly made up of fiberglass or hard plastic. Helmets possessing special laminating processes and carbon fiber are lighter which generally reduces neck fatigue. Helmets with aerodynamic engineering are expensive. These are used to prevent lift and buffeting in cockpit cars. A helmet must be comfortable with your head size, chin strap and neck.

Your driving suit must be fire resistant. You should wear fire resistant material as much as possible. Buy those two-layered suits that do not require underwear. There are three layered suits which are lighter than the two layered suits. A two layered suit will delay 14 seconds and a three-layer suit delays 18-26 seconds from burning.
